I Smell Cookies

The freshie is busy in the kitchen baking chocolate chip cookies in honor of big sister’s homecoming from college. Yes, it’s spring break! I prefer when freshie cleans their room for her sister’s arrival but at this point I’ll settle for her being home. The cookies of course are a bonus, a big bonus.

I have to keep my fingers busy on the keys, interruption… a cookie was carried in to me for tasting.  (Where’s my milk?) Oh, that was good. She is full of sweetness this little one. I remember this little girl.

The freshie’s back and Sarah is coming home. All is good. Tonight, I’m a happy momma.
